FOR 1 NEW AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISE, 2 FORMER ONES ARE ELIMINATED

Demography of agricultural organizations in Russia. In January-May 2022, 1,316 organizations were created in agriculture compared to 1,133 a year earlier. Of these, 340 new agricultural enterprises in May compared to 206 a year earlier.

The "birth rate" of organizations in the agricultural sector (the distribution of registered organizations per 1000 organizations as a whole) has improved: in January-May it amounted to 18.3 versus 15.1. But it still lags significantly behind the economy by 1.6 times.

The liquidation of agricultural organizations in January-May 2022 proceeded at a more powerful pace. 2,447 organizations were liquidated against 2,195 a year earlier. Of these, 335 enterprises in May compared to 265 a year earlier.

The coefficient of "mortality" of agricultural organizations in the January-May YoY pair continued to grow: 34.0 this year against 29.2 last year per 1,000 liquidated. In the economy as a whole, this coefficient was 39.3 versus 41.6 in the same pair). Last year's trend persists: for 1 new SHP, 2 old ones are eliminated @agrorisk @agrorisk
