Producer price indices for crop production in Russia. In April 2021, the price index for plant breeders relative to March of this year amounted to 101.1% versus 102.2% in animal husbandry and 101.7% in agriculture as a whole.
In total, in January-April 2021, plant breeders raised prices by 7.2%. If you look at the past year, the pace has increased by 3.4%.
In dynamics, by April 2020, the prices of plant breeders soared by 34.4%. All crop production in a pair January-April 2021/2020 has risen in price by 33.2%.
Since the beginning of the year, the leaders of the rise have not changed: the producers of sunflower seeds have increased their selling prices - by 17.8%, potatoes - by 17.1%, vegetables - by 13.3%. Seeds are steadily growing in price by 5% on average per month. @agrorisk
