BUTTER PRODUCTION REDUCES

Production of butter in Russia. For the period from January to June of this year, creameries produced 140.2 thousand tons of butter, of which 26.2 thousand tons were produced in June (+1.2 thousand tons by May).

Paired June 2021/2020 total butter production fell 4.3%. At the same time, the prices for butter for the compared period increased by 4.7%.

In the June / May 2021 pair, the butter production index increased by 3.9% and prices by 0.4%.

From the beginning of the year to June 2021, the production of butter decreased by 3.1% compared to the same period last year. @agrorisk
