BUTTER PLAYING. PRICES ARE OVERLAPPING

Production of butter in Russia. For the period from January to May of this year, creameries produced 114 thousand tons of butter, of which 25 thousand tons were produced in May.

Paired May 2021/2020 total butter production fell 7.4%. At the same time, the prices for butter for the compared period increased by 4.5%.

In the May / April 2021 pair, the production index increased by 4.5%.

From the beginning of the year to May 2021, the production of butter decreased by 3% compared to the same period last year. @agrorisk
