PASTA PRODUCTION IS COMING BUT WHILE LAGGING FROM THE PAST YEAR

Production of pasta in Russia. In June 2021, pasta factories produced 119 thousand tons of pasta and other flour products against 114 thousand tons in May.

Paired June 2021/2020 the total production of pasta increased by 8.4%. At the same time, prices for pasta for the compared period increased by 7.8%.

In the June / May 2021 pair, the pasta production index increased and amounted to 103.6%, prices increased by 0.0%. In June, the import of pasta (according to the TNVED code 1902) amounted to 6.83 thousand tons, having withdrawn $ 11.349 million from the Russian market.

In the first half of 2021, pasta production decreased by 8.3% compared to the same period last year. The rise in prices by December 2020 remained at the level of 4.1% in May. @agrorisk
