161 BOOTLEGGER POINTS DETECTED IN 1 QUARTER 2021

Alcohol market in Russia. In the first quarter of 2021, the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Rosalkogolregulirovanie and the Federal Customs Service of Russia carried out 37.5 thousand inspections of organizations and individual entrepreneurs that produce and sell ethyl alcohol, alcoholic and alcohol-containing products. Violations were revealed in 18.4 thousand organizations inspected.

The products were checked for 124.3 thousand decaliters of ethyl alcohol and 625.2 thousand deciliters of alcoholic and alcohol-containing products. Of these, 98.7% of ethyl alcohol and 91.3% of alcoholic and alcohol-containing products were produced and sold in violation of the law.

The largest illegal turnover of ethyl alcohol, alcoholic and alcohol-containing products was detected in the Stavropol Territory (187.2 thousand decaliters), the Moscow region (162.3 thousand deciliters), the Pskov region (54.3 thousand deciliters), the Republic of Dagestan (40 , 3 thousand decaliters), Novosibirsk (38.5 thousand decalitres) and Yaroslavl regions (30.8 thousand decaliters), the Republic of North Ossetia - Alania (26.9 thousand decalitres), Rostov region (19.8 thousand decaliters) dkl).

161 clandestine workshops, 26 organized groups and 18.0 thousand persons who committed offenses related to the illegal production and circulation of ethyl alcohol, alcoholic and alcohol-containing products were identified. @agrorisk
