Producer price indices for agricultural products. According to preliminary data, in March 2021, the price index of agricultural producers relative to February of this year amounted to 101.7%, including in crop production - 99.8%, in animal husbandry - 103%.
In total, in the first quarter of 2021, agricultural producers raised prices by 6.2%. If you look at the last year, then, on the contrary, a decrease of 0.2% was recorded.
In the first three months of this year, prices for agricultural producers grew smoothly around 2% per month. The peak for plant breeders was in February (+ 3.6% to the price in January), for livestock breeders - in March (+ 3% to the price in February).
In dynamics, by March 2020, the prices of agricultural producers went up by 23.5%. All agricultural products in pairs Q1 2021/2020 has risen in price by 21.8%. @agrorisk
