Prices for the import of fruits and vegetables in Russia. In the April / March 2021 pair for imports, the average actual prices continued to grow, mainly for citrus fruits (+ 8.4%). Imported vegetables - tomatoes and potatoes - were split. Tomatoes were still falling in price, by 3.9%. On the contrary, potatoes began to grow - by 4.6%. Banana prices are growing steadily by 0.1%.
As of April 2020, all prices for imported vegetables and fruits fell in April, ranging from 8.6% for tomatoes to 3.9% for citrus fruits. An exception is bananas with an increase of 0.1%. On average, the decline is 4.5%.
For foreign potatoes, the average actual price per tonne in April 2021 amounted to USD 382 against USD 370.3 in March.
April import of tomatoes cost $ 1144.3 / t against $ 1186 in March.
Prices for bananas, including plantains (fresh and dried) remained practically at the level of last year and amounted to $ 745.5 per ton. or + 0.5% to March.
