Timber prices of Russian exporters. For export operations, the average actual prices for timber, both processed and unprocessed, continued to grow in May 2021, albeit insignificantly.
The average actual price of 1 ton of treated timber in May decreased by 0.2% and amounted to USD 314.3 against 320.6 in April. In a couple of May 2021/2020, exporters achieved a 37.5% increase in prices for such wood.
In May, buyers from distant countries purchased treated timber at a price of $ 342.9 per ton against $ 356.1 a month earlier. The price dropped by $ 13.2.
Post-Soviet countries were able to afford the May purchase, as before, 2 times cheaper at $ 163.7 per ton against 156.3 in April 2021.
The May difference between export destinations decreased by $ 21 and amounted to $ 179. @agrorisk
