SEASONAL RELAX. CONSUMER PRICE INDEX FOR AUGUST 10-16, 2021

Consumer price index in Russia. For the period from 10 to 16 August 2021, the index was 99.99%, from the beginning of August - 99.97%, from the beginning of the year - 104.48%.

Over the week, prices increased: for pork - by 0.9%, canned vegetables for baby food - by 0.5%, beef - by 0.3%, lamb, sausages, sausages, rennet cheeses, margarine, buckwheat groats, salt and black tea - by 0.2%, boiled sausage, canned meat and fruit and berry food for baby food, butter, rice, rye bread, dinners in a canteen, cafe, snack bar (except for a canteen in an organization) - by 0.1%.

On average, prices for sunflower oil increased by 0.1%, for granulated sugar - they changed, for chicken meat - by 0.1%. Chicken eggs fell 0.6%.

Prices for fruits and vegetables decreased by an average of 2.0%, including for carrots - by 7.6%, potatoes and cucumbers - by 3.9%, tomatoes - by 3.4%, white cabbage - by 0.6 %, apples - by 0.5%.

Prices decreased: for semi-smoked and boiled-smoked sausage - by 0.8%, frozen fish - by 0.5%, vermicelli - by 0.4%, vodka - by 0.3%, pasteurized milk, dry milk mixtures, pasta products and biscuits - by 0.2%, bread and bakery products from flour of grades 1 and 2, chocolate and millet sweets - by 0.1%. @agrorisk
