HURRICANE GROWTH IN PROFITS IN THE BEVERAGE INDUSTRY

Financial results of the beverage industry in Russia. In January-May 2021, the balanced financial result (profit minus loss) of beverage companies (excluding SMEs) in current prices amounted to 25.3 billion rubles or 11.2 billion rubles in May.

Compared to the same period in 2020, the profit of beverage manufacturers increased by 9.1%, which is significantly lower than the rates of food industry (13.9%) and tobacco industry (26.1%).

In general, in January-May, beverage producers made a profit of 27.3 billion rubles, or 11 billion rubles in May. Losses of the companies decreased by 200 million rubles and amounted to 2.0 billion rubles. or 7.3% of the shaft of total profits in the industry. The share of unprofitable organizations decreased from 36.3% to 31.0%.

Over the period, in the general section of balanced profit in the country among organizations (amounted to 9466.2 billion rubles), organizations of the beverage industry took a share of 0.28%. @agrorisk
