A VORACIOUS FISH FARM. THE LOSS DECREASED BY 3 TIMES

Financial results of fish farm organizations in Russia. For Q1 2022, the net financial result (profit minus loss) of agricultural organizations (without SMP) in current prices amounted to 35.9 billion rubles. In the 1st quarter of 2022/2021, profit increased by 65.2%.

In general, for the 1st quarter, fish farming organizations showed a profit of 51.4 billion rubles, or +92.5 to the 1st quarter of 2021. Losses for the 1st quarter at agricultural enterprises amounted to 15.5 billion rubles. In the 1st quarter of 2022/2021, losses increased 3.1 times

During the period in the general section of net profit in the country among organizations (amounted to 7120.6 billion rubles), agricultural organizations took a share of 0.4%.

The revenue growth is probably related to the high export demand for fish products at the beginning of the year, as well as the ongoing digital transformation of industry enterprises. The rate of profit growth of fish farms: 165.2% vs. 131.8% in the whole market @agrorisk
