Margarine production in Russia. In May 2021, oil and fat factories produced 34.9 thousand tons of margarine. Paired May 2021/2020 total margarine output increased strongly - by 21.6%, in the May / April 2021 pair, the growth was more modest - by 3.3%.

Recall that butter had a May output of 25 thousand tons and a drop in production in May 2021/2020 by 7.4%.

From the beginning of the year to May 2021, margarine production decreased by 3.6% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 172 thousand tons. @agrorisk
