Food and processing industry price index. The producer price index of manufactured goods in the May / April 2021 pair was 102.3%. Paired January-May 2021/2020 manufactured goods rose by 18.8%.

Food prices in the May / April 2021 pair increased by 1.3%, in dynamics against May 2020 - by 16.4%, in total for January-May 2021 - by 14.9%.

The chemical substances and chemical products industry continued to inflate prices, overtaking all processing industries, yielding only to metallurgists and raising prices in the May / April 2021 pair by 6.9%.

However, in dynamics, by December 2020, chemists gained absolute leadership, having dropped prices by 30.7%.

In a couple of May 2021/2020, the chemical industry managed to raise prices by 40.1%, but the champion title was taken by producers of coke and petroleum products, whose products began to cost 83.6% more. @agrorisk
