GROWTH RATE OF PROFITS OF FARMERS LAGS BEHIND THE MARKET

Financial results of agricultural organizations in Russia. In January-April 2021, the balanced financial result (profit minus loss) of agricultural enterprises (excluding SMEs) in current prices amounted to 166.2 billion rubles. Compared to the same period in 2020, profit increased by 88%.

In general, in January-April, agricultural organizations made a profit of 190.2 billion rubles, or + 70% compared to the same period in 2020. Losses at agricultural enterprises amounted to 24 billion rubles. In general, unprofitability did not grow significantly in terms of rates and amounted to + 2.7%.

Over the period, in the general section of balanced profit in the country among organizations (amounted to 7277.4 billion rubles), agricultural enterprises of the organization occupied a share of 2.3%. Profit growth rate: 188% versus 330% for the market as a whole. @agrorisk
