French Wheat Buyers

France's export campaign in 2022 began with positive dynamics - from July to October, shipments outside the European Union far exceed the average of previous years with 3.7 million tons of exported wheat, according to French customs. The main buyers of French wheat during the first four months of the export campaign are Algeria (1.06 million tons), Morocco (999 thousand tons), sub-Saharan Africa (573 thousand tons), Egypt (256 thousand tons), Yemen (240 thousand tons) and Pakistan (234 thousand tons). Observers note insignificant purchases of French wheat from China (only 86 thousand tons) since the beginning of the campaign. The total volume of exports is expected to reach 6.9 million tons to the EU member states (-13% compared to the 2021-22 campaign) and 10 million tons to third countries (+14%) - Cultivar.
