The hot summer of 2022 was favorable for the ripening of cereals in France, which allowed them to harvest earlier and of better quality. Thus, French farmers were able to ensure the supply of wheat to Algeria, which is a major consumer of grain, to Morocco, which suffered this year due to drought, as well as Tunisia and Egypt.
